This is the first recipe in what will eventually be many in the Fresh Juice category.
Fall is in the air and farmers are harvesting some of my favorite foods, many of which are great for juicing.
On my most recent trip to the farmers’ market I couldn’t help myself and bought more than I could possibly eat in the next week. When I got home I knew I’d be breaking out my trusty Jack LaLanne juicer to make sure nothing went to waste.

Lemon and lime combine for a one-two detox punch. Throw in the cleansing properties of kale, a banana for creaminess and taste, and you’ve got yourself a delicious detox smoothie.

This is my go to green superfood smoothie when I get cravings for chlorophyll. I like to mix my smoothies up to ensure I get a good healthy balance of vitamins and minerals (and keep things fun and interesting), but truth be told, I’d have no problem guzzling this guy every day.
This is one of my favorite smoothies, not because of its cool name, but rather the sheer amount of greens I’m able to cram into my blender and still have a delicious finished product. Green smoothies are quite popular these days, and for good reason. They are perhaps the easiest and most convenient way for people to get their daily allotment of green leafy vegetables.
In celebration of St. Patty’s Day I whipped up a nice, big, creamy green smoothie. Don’t get a shamrock shake from McDonald’s or guzzle of a bunch of green beer, go the healthy route and drink a delicious green smoothie that will leave you feeling terrific afterwards.
