I admit it, I’m addicted! Addicted to superfood smoothies. I like to think of it as a healthy addiction :)
Not only do I love the taste, how I feel after drinking, and the health benefits, tossing a variety of superfoods into my blender is flat out fun. Thankfully, I’m not the only one who share’s this passion.
When I bump heads with a fellow superfood smoothie maker recipes like this ensue. This recipe was inspired by my friend, Ian, a seasoned superfood smoothie maker himself.


If you dig the peppery, spicy flavor of arugula then you’re going to love this smoothie. If you’re not a fan of arugula then I suggest finding another healthy smoothie to kick-start your day with.
It’s the time of year where I live when fresh produce is plentiful. I’m so grateful for the local farmers who grow my food with much care and love. Most of the ingredients I used in this smoothie are local and organic, just the way I like it.
This is one of those throw in everything but the kitchen sink superfood smoothies.
One of my favorite new pastimes is harvesting wild edibles. It’s so much fun being out in nature gathering nutrient dense, delicious wild food, for free!
